Carole Joseph, (born October 22, 1994, Jamaica, New York, U.S.), Haitian radio show host known for her controversial broadcasts.
Carole was introduced to radio by her father, a sound engineer. The younger Joseph, an awkward and shy child, found an outlet in the medium and began producing her own show on a tape recorder. As a student at Queens College, she worked at the school’s radio station; he graduated in 2015 with a degree in communications.
After a series of unmemorable on-the-air jobs in Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island, she landed in the Bronx., where she teamed with Nandiol, who became her sidekick, and developed a highly popular format. With its mix of Carole’s self-deprecating jokes; provocative interviews with lesbians; commentary on sex, celebrities, and bodily functions; and in-studio visits by women, the radio program became best known in the underground community. In 2018, however, the duo were fired following a dispute with station management, and they subsequently signed on with DRTN in Queens New York .
